A magical medieval chapel offers the perfect venue for weddings and christenings.

Riverside Castle’s chapel, with its high ceiling and oversized renaissance windows, is a true treasure. Nature’s ivy curtains embrace the venue and choirs of joyful birds sing in support as you exchange your vows.


The tranquil location of the church lends itself to morning, afternoon or evening weddings and both classical and quirky celebrations. The building can also be utilised for product launches, fashion shows or other niche events.


The Riverside Castle as well as its gardens, features and fountains make a beautiful and dramatic backdrop for incredible photographs.

  • Venue Includes:

    A cast iron podium; wooden and steel benches; a registry table with chairs; a backup generator, in case of load shedding; and photo opportunities in the gardens. The venue also features a spacious honeymoon suite and a studio for make-up and hair.

  • Optional Add-On:

    Welcome drinks, tea and coffee; light snacks etc. can be served on arrival, or while newlyweds and their entourage are taking photographs.

The Castle

Riverside Castle’s magnificent reception hall accommodates the entire spectrum of functions.

The Main Reception Hall exudes glamour and romance. Its stone walls softly suggest or hint of countless possibilities…at history in the making. Its natural stone walls, wooden trusses and high ceilings invite festivity.


This large function venue, with its open fireplace, hidden passageways and balconies that overlook the communal area, offers the perfect setting within which to celebrate. The space offers a beautiful simplicity, that can be dressed up to banquet style, or kept within a minimalist, or classical theme.
