Chris Linford Weds Candice
Category: About us Published on Monday, 30 May 2011 11:09
There is something very exciting about the wedding of a local celebrity, and Chris Linford (of Egoli fame) did not disappoint. He recently wed the gorgeous Candice Dafel, an ex-dancer on the Rhapsody cruise liner. Since they met on the ship in 2005, Chris and Candice have been inseparable.
The wedding was held at the Riverside Chapel in Pretoria and attended by a host of A-list celebrity friends, including Stephen van Niekerk, Corine du Toit, Darren Kelfkens, Marry-Anne Barlow and Darryl Desmarais.
Candice’s sexy white wedding dress was embellished with a fabulous black feathered sash and black tulle underskirt. It was designed and created by Annie Potgieter. Candice’s ring shows off her feminine hands at their best. It comprises an impressive solitaire diamond flanked by two bands of smaller stones.
The reception venue was dripping with over 800 red roses and a night sky of flickering candles to create the perfect scene for such a romantic union. Guests dined on crisp phyllo baskets filled with a creamy chicken creation in celebration of this big day.
As the couple stared into one another’s eyes, as if for the first time, the notion of living “happily ever after” became a reality for the friends and family that shared this special day with them.

About Riverside Castle
Category: About us Published on Tuesday, 10 May 2011 15:13

A Spirit of romance and African tranquility seems to engulf Riverside Castle, situated in Zwavelpoort,
eastern Pretoria, where Highveld becomes Bushveld - the trademark of South Africa.
Although the Middle Ages are often remembered for human hardships, it was also the era that initiated new artistic and architectural styles. Through it all, faith was an ever present enigma and men fought and died for their religious beliefs. The most beautiful cathedrals were built as refuges of peace and as a testimony of their precious beliefs.
The Middle Ages eventually gave birth to Castles and Romance.
Riverside Castle is not a real castle, of course, but a fairy tale version of one and it's a masterpiece of medieval and modern architectural styles pieced together.

Riverside Castle was built for the main purpose of celebrating eternal love and the sacred joining of man and woman as intended by God from the earliest of times.
Riverside Castle is majestic and yet, so real as though it's been gracing African soil since the dawn of times. The oversized windows, majestic arches and high ceilings add to an overall feeling of spaciousness.
The entire estate is dedicated to the trinity of God and the memories of fallen crusaders, which becomes evident in the numerous religious symbols that were incorporated in construction, landscaping and decorating.
At Riverside Castle you will be transported to a long forgotten era of true romance and where you once again can connect to nature and your inner self.
The venue comprise of the following:
A Chapel that can accommodate a maximum of 180 guests

Pretoria, the capital of South Africa, is in close proximity of various game farms and is only +-450 km from the world famous Kruger National Park.
